How much coverage do we really need?

I don't put a time limit on my coverage, I stay until the story is complete! That means if you're running late, or need a bit extra you're not left clock watching or worrying that your videographer has to leave any moment. As a general idea, for traditional weddings, I arrive a few hours before the ceremony until about an hour after the dancing begins.​

I do have a multi day package for when you'd like a more well rounded story of your day, but the best way is to discuss your plans in a call!

 

Can we customise a Package?

Of course. Every wedding is different, so every package can be tailored to suit your plans. Whether you'd like extra coverage, a welcome dinner, a day-after adventure or something completely bespoke, we'll build a package that's the right fit for your wedding.

I'm not sure what package we'll need, can we choose later?

Absolutely. I always shoot with a view of having all the footage, so even after the wedding, should you wish to have an extended cut or full speeches, you can always let me know later. I also have a full range of extras to add on to your package, let me know in an email if you'd like to discuss this!

Do you travel across Italy?

I do! I film destination weddings all across Italy, including Tuscany, Lake Como, the Dolomites, Venice, Rome, the Amalfi Coast and many more incredible locations. Whether you're planning an intimate elopement or a multi-day wedding celebration, I'm always happy to travel to wherever your story takes you.

Do you film weddings outside of Italy?

Yes! Although Italy is home, I'm always excited to travel for destination weddings across Europe and beyond. If you're getting married somewhere special and think Happy Pears might be the right fit, I'd love to hear more about your plans.

​What is the Wedding Film exactly?

These is the exciting wedding film of your day! They're substantial enough that you're not left wanting more and I try to focus on the day as a whole, to elicit the feeling of being there whilst cozying up on the couch with your favourite bottle of bubbly. All my videos are shot and edited with love, they're easily shareable and utterly watchable.​

What is the longer edit?

This gives you a much more substantial look at your time in Italy. It's perfect when you have multiple days of coverage selected, whether you're having welcome dinners with speeches, pool parties or just exploring, the longer edit gives you even more footage to cherish forever.

What is your style?

Candid and natural. I prefer to let moments occur organically than try to orchestrate them, I tend to stay in the background and keep an ear and eye out for real moments to capture. So I'd say my style is less dramatic and more fun, playful and natural.

Is the use of a drone included?

Always! I don't charge extra to use a drone, I prefer for you to get the best video possible and that means using all the equipment I have available to me. Obviously the use of a drone is based on the location, as a rule places near airports, military bases and major cities like Rome usually don't allow drones.

How long have you filmed weddings?

I've been filming weddings for over 10 years, capturing celebrations of every shape and size. From intimate elopements to multi-day destination weddings in Italy, that experience has taught me how to blend into the day, adapt to different situations and capture genuine moments as they happen.​​​​​​​​​

Do you speak English and Italian?

English is my first language, but I also speak Italian! This makes it easy to communicate with you, your venue and your suppliers throughout the day. Whether it's chatting with your planner, coordinating with photographers or helping things run smoothly behind the scenes, you won't need to worry about language getting in the way.
