Choosing a wedding video for your elopement in Italy is a great way to relive your unforgettable experience.

I've had the pleasure of shooting weddings from the cliffs of Positano, to the breathtaking mountains of the Dolomites to the canals of Venice. â€‹â€‹

Whether it's to watch on your anniversary, or to one day show your kids how cool mommy and daddy were (and still will be!), your elopement video will always be with you.

Planning an elopement in Italy? Here are answers to the most common questions couples ask.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an elopement wedding?

An elopement is a small, intimate wedding where it’s just the two of you (or a very small number of guests). It’s focused on your experience, your vows, and the location—rather than a traditional wedding day structure.

Do we need to plan a full itinerary for our elopement?

Not at all. Most couples keep things simple. I can also help you shape a loose timeline so the day feels relaxed and natural, without turning it into something overly planned or staged.

What if we feel awkward in front of the camera?

That’s completely normal, especially for elopements. The approach is very natural and unobtrusive. There’s no posing or directing—you’re simply given space to focus on each other.

Can we include personal vows or private moments?

Yes. In fact, most elopements are built around personal vows. The filming style is designed to quietly document those moments without interruption.

Do you help with planning or just filming?

Both, depending on what you need. Some couples already have everything planned. Others prefer help with timing, light, and location suggestions so the day flows naturally.

Can we include a small celebration after the ceremony?

Yes. Many elopements include a walk, picnic, meal, or small celebration after the vows. These moments often become a key part of the final film.

Do you travel across Italy for elopements?

Yes. I film elopements across Italy including Tuscany, Lake Como, the Dolomites, the Amalfi Coast, and other regions depending on your plans.

How far in advance should we book an elopement videographer in Italy?

It’s best to book as early as possible, especially for popular seasons like spring and early autumn. However, last-minute elopements are sometimes possible depending on availability.

Is the use of a drone included?

Always! I don't charge extra to use a drone, I prefer for you to get the best video possible and that means using all the equipment I have available to me. Obviously the use of a drone is based on the location, as a rule places near airports, military bases and major cities like Rome usually don't allow drones.

Do you work alone for elopements?

I shoot all my elopements solo! They're filmed in a very discreet way, with minimal equipment, so the focus stays entirely on your experience rather than a production setup.

Do you also photograph elopements?

I focus on film only, but I’m happy to recommend photographers I trust in Italy.

If you’re eloping, I’d love to hear what you’re considering.

There’s no pressure to have everything figured out, just tell me a bit about you and what you’re planning, and we’ll take it from there.
